It’s cold. Nearly -20* Celsius but today’s day is a little bit different from the others in this season. It’s different because of the warm and bright daylight condition’s. I missed last weekend excellent conditions when there was -20 and the fog at night – everything looked magical… and I don’t have a single shot of it :/ I couldn’t let that happen again even if it’s not so great as it was.
About my photos … well I think I’m not so into landscape photography. I just hate to take pictures when my lens DOF indicator point’s to infinity. I have a feeling that it kills all my creativity and gives back not so great results at the back of my camera. So I’ll be happy if you will like just a few of those photos.

Start Slide Show with PicLens Lite
Hi, It’s been a while since my last conf. update. This time I want to share my first little virtual tour. Starting point is just outside my home, and after few steps it will lead to the city centre. Quality is not so great as I would like it to be. My current fisheye lens does not cover fullframe sensor so it’s like .. hmm 6MP? .. not sure about that. Effect is still pretty nice, since I managed to calibrate my gear correctly – yes that means that I finally managed to find nodal point for my lens. Soon everything will be grey outside, so it is the last moment to take some colour shots. When snow drops down (or not) whether is dull, colors are gone, motivation “0″, and my camera profile looks like – profile B&W + “EV +2″ for 5-6 month’s. It’s almost like putting your camera to a bag for some time.

Start Slide Show with PicLens Lite
Hi there. Recently I was visiting my friend (I was his best-man) on the day of his first anniversary. I took some photos as usual… The more interesting part is that these were developed in Lightroom, after I made my first LCD calibration. I did bought that little thingi (Spyder 3 Pro) that is capable of doing some magic on your uncalibrated screen. Everything look’s very different now. I do not have such a strong contrasts in color, but I definitely can see more colours being displayed even on Windows icons. It’s like jumping from 400D to D700 in one step.The general feeling is that now I have more tonal range on my screen. Needles to say that now my style of developing photos my vary from one that I used to like.
