Long time no see

Long time no see, but I have been a bit busy lately. My wedding site is nearly finished [85% at this point] but costed me more money and time than I expected. Good that it is made just like I wanted it to be made. Go check it out if you haven’t seen it yet, and leave me some reviews if you like it or not. The address is http://www.medius.net.pl/. I have also done some more commercial photos lately (at last ) some samples below. One was for the local car wash (nothing exotic just a few shots of their crew at work) and the second one was some clothes – also can be seen below.

By the way, there are a few new Sigma lenses that are just about to emerge at stores. First one is Sigma 85f/1.4 (shots taken from flickr) witch I believe will be a Nikon 85/1.4 killer. Just take a look at that monster! No sure how about you, but I kind of drool at this photo. I want to believe that it will be just as good as newest Sigma 50/1.4 is…. The other thing is that these are some conference / show photos and take a look what they used as a body! A Canon body hahaaha Come on guys is that a commercial or anti-commercial? Everyone knows that it can’t work properly on that body The lens looks super nice though.

The other one is a new 70-200 2.8 OS (*VR) – “boy o boy” that is another hottie, non macro lens for better image quality. If Sigma wont mess it up this time, it may actually be a real life alternative for that expensive Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VR. Can’t wait to get this one at my hands too. Take a look. He he I can already see some potential ;p

Well, what can I say? Today is/was one of those Sundays when time seems to slow down, and there is nothing sensible to do, so I visited my long unseen friend Lukasz. After a while of a good chat a grabbed my camera (as usual), took some photos of him indoors, and with some more chat we decided to take a short walk, and I made some more photos….

D700 and Sigma 24-70 IF HSM EX F/2.8 random shots

First of all, I want to announce that I will try to run my blog in English now. Tough decision, because I haven’t been using it actively quite a few years. Since high school to be more precise, so If anyone finds some mistakes, please don’t be to harsh on me

Few, day’s ago I finally set my hand’s on Nikon D700. For those who do not know, it is a FullFrame sensor camera – so it’s matrix is just as big as old school film frame. Why is it so important? Finally I have some more creativity going on due to very shallow DOF (depth of field), so I have to pay more attention on aperture that I’m working on. It also means, that I have more tonal range, lower noise and many other thing’s that I will be reviewing later on.

Here, are my first shots made with this body. Not much – my hand’s feel a bit rusty on the new camera, I still try to make some thing’s by Canon way.
